Trois Rivières
Double wood

Home angle_right News & Events angle_right TROIS RIVIÈRES DOUBLE WOOD

Trois Rivières Double Wood: a new design to reveal its woody soul

This iconic cuvée is now presented in a refreshed style that elevates its essence. The liquid, matured in oak and shaped by the terroir of Martinique, remains unchanged, while the new design highlights its personality, elegantly woody profile, and the finesse born from slow, careful maturation.

Trois Rivieres

The imprint of wood

Inspired by time and wood, this new design tells the story of Double Wood’s transformation in our cellars. The textures and subtle tones of the label echo the rhum’s contact with the wood, its complexity and its depth. Ahead of the first sip, the design conveys the softness and the generosity of the liquid, an invitation to immerse yourself in the warm, authentic world of matured rhums.

Mastered elegance

Crafted in accordance with the rigorous standards of the Martinique AOC, Double Wood reflects our expertise and passion for maturation. Double Wood spends a minimum of twelve months maturing in two different types of wood under the tropical climate of Martinique, before being delicately blended by our Cellar Master, Daniel Baudin.

Its character achieves a subtle balance between the lively, vibrant freshness of white rhum and the deeper roundness of matured rhums. The spirit first rests in large wooden vats, where ample contact with the wood allows it to breathe and develop roundness. It then matures in smaller casks, which promote a more intense wood-to-spirit exchange, enriching the rhum with a complex aromatic bouquet.

This dual maturation endows Double Wood with a generous, subtly woody profile, offering a tasting experience that leads to new layers of complexity.
