TROIS RIVIÈRES
CONFLUENCES
1977 - 2000 - 2001

44°70cl

For decades, Trois Rivières has demonstrated a high level of mastery in the exacting art of blending aged agricole rhums, where precision of gesture meets the patience of time. Guided by Cellar Master Daniel Baudin, whose expertise has been consistently expressed through emblematic creations, this pursuit of excellence reaches a new dimension.
Confluences belongs to this lineage with the rare ambition of bringing together exceptional rhums in an unprecedented blend, conceived as a singular work in which each component finds its rightful place.

At the heart of Confluences lie three carefully selected Hors d’Âge vintages from the Trois Rivières legacy. The Hors d’Âge 1977 stands out for its deeply distinctive character, marked by empyreumatic notes and a spicy intensity that structures the blend. The Hors d’Âge 2000 and 2001, carefully aged in oak casks with varied profiles, bring balance, roundness and aromatic vibrancy. Each reflects an era and an expression of tropical ageing, while their union reveals a complex harmony, where the depth of the oldest finds a subtle echo in the brightness of the other two.

The tasting reveals a luminous golden hue with amber highlights, a sign of long and carefully managed ageing. The nose is full and generous, opening on notes of candied orange, tobacco and delicate spices. On the palate, the texture is both dense and elegant, with nuances of candied lemon, raisins and tonka bean, carried by a refined aromatic richness. The flavours intertwine with precision, giving way to a long, refined finish, where hints of gingerbread, cigar box and candied peel linger. A perfect structure and ideally integrated tannins release subtle reminiscences of old Sherry or Hors d’Âge Single Malts.

Confluences embodies a rare and precious expression of Trois Rivières savoir-faire, created for the most discerning connoisseurs. Produced in just 500 individually numbered bottles, this exceptional cuvée bears witness to a unique moment of creation, where time, matter and savoir-faire come together in remarkable singularity.
